Security Systems Account Executive
Resource One, an industry leading security solutions firm based in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a full-time sales account executive for an immediate opening. Candidate will be responsible for developing new business and expanding existing relationships. The successful candidate for this position will need to call at all levels of an organization, have the ability to understand and present technical security solutions, and have a thorough understanding of IP-based physical security.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prospect new business clients, develop relationships and secure new business.
• Identify, promote and sell integrated video management systems including IP Surveillance, Storage and Analytics, Access Control and Perimeter Protection.
• Develop a sales plan and qualify / prioritize opportunities.
• Contact prospective clients / qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing company marketing strategies as well as maintain existing accounts.
• Determine customer needs and requirements.
• Prepare scope of work, proposals, and presentations.
• Assume account management responsibility including the coordination/delivery of services (installation, customer training, etc.)
• Close sufficient sales to meet or exceed sales plan objectives.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems in regard to delivery dates, billings, financing, etc.
• Participate at customer seminars, trade shows, product demonstrations and other events.
• Continuously educate yourself on new technology and applications.
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university. Candidate should possess 5 years prior selling experience that demonstrates strong business development, communication, and presentation skills. Candidate must be energetic, very detailed, highly motivated, professional and demonstrate impeccable follow-up ability. Candidate should have security industry experience including Network Video, IP-Based Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Security Control, Fire Alarm and Monitoring. Experience working with IP-based networks, switches, servers, and storage is desirable.
